"As a health care provider, I had heard so much about Reiki and I wanted to receive a session for so long. Reiki is a form of energy work - someone works with you to shift energy within your body (similar to acupuncture but without needles). I waited for a long time, as it is never easy to find the right practitioner - and I am super picky!

I am so grateful to have found Rae at Raeki. Right after our first meeting I booked monthly sessions with her (which I have never done before in my life), as she is so good, I know she is going to book up in our post Covid re-opening.

Rae is relaxed, grounded, and very experienced in several healing modalities. In Reiki it is best to just chill out, and Rae puts you right at ease. I was astounded by her capacity to to infer really specific info ("your left ankle feels stiff") without any background info (I had broken that ankle a few years ago and do struggle with flexibility). The best way to describe the felt sense after getting Reiki with Rae is that it is like getting 100 hours of really good massage. Your whole body feels relaxed and different.

As a physical therapist, I am a big believer in regular massage and fascial work, and I can see that the Reiki clearing Rae performed is no different, and no less important. She is working on the energetic (rather than the structural) level.
