Totem of the White Wolf

I've been taking a Shamanic Reiki Mastery class with Wakinda, a native bear medicine healer located in Sequim, Washington. On our fourth session together she guided me on a shamanic journey meditation to meet my animal totem, aka spirit animal. I've always felt very connected with cats, so I was a little surprised when a large all white wolf with light golden eyes fiercely met my gaze, blocking my path forward on a narrow dirt pathway up a mountain. She had female energy, calm, wise, and felt like a guardian and guide. She remained by my side or just ahead of me throughout the meditative journey. Although she did not speak to me in words, she communicated through her body language and her eyes, telepathically sending images and feelings. She is the same soul who has guided me in other lifetimes in other forms. I could feel her love for me.
